Moscow «Classic Orchestra» was created for the implementation of a unique musical program "Stars of the Future". International Music Project "Stars of the Future aims to organize concerts and promotion of talented young performers of classical music - winners of international competitions.

Moscow «Classic Orchestra» was founded in Moscow in 2001. In the orchestra of leading musicians known symphony orchestras in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The orchestra big symphonic works of the great Russian and European composers: PI Tchaikovsky, AP Borodin, NA Rimsky-Korsakov, as well as works by Mozart, Beethoven, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, J. Sibelius, Johannes Brahms.

Moscow «Classic Orchestra» has worked with major conductors - chief conductor of Ukraine Viktor Sirenko, AA Polishchuk, and with the young conductors I. Balter, V. Valeev, G. Shameem, etc.

In an active orchestra - successful touring performances in Moscow, Rostov and other cities of Russia, Ukraine, foreign concerts in Italy, Austria, Korea and Japan.

In November 2008, the band recorded their first CD with soloist Anna Savkina (violin). Moscow «Classic Orchestra» works with the regular participants of the project "Stars of the Future": the winner of the XVIII International Competition. Anna SAVKINA (Violin).

Anna Savkina is a successful young Russian violinist, is the constant participant of the project "Stars of the Future”. At the age of 15 years old Anna has got wide enough musical popularity in Russia and behind its limits.

Anna Savkina was born in Siberia in 1994. She began training to play the violin at 5 years old and in 2 years became the winner of the International competition in Nizhniy Novgorod. Since 2006 has lived with her family in Moscow and has been training at the Moscow Average Special Musical Gnesinschool at the class of the professor of the Moscow State conservatory A.Vinnitskiy.

Anna Savkina is the Winner of the several first awards of prestigious International competitions: I Moscow International competition of violinists of D.F.Ojstraha, 2006; children's musical competition "Rotari", 2006; VI Youth Delfijsky games, Yaroslavl, 2007; V International competition of violinists to Weimar, Germany, 2007; III Moscow violinists of a name of D.Ojstraha, 2008.

The participant of various musical festivals, including: "Crescendo" - 2005 and "Stars on Baikal" - 2008 by Deniss Matsuev and "Moscow meets friends" - 2006, 2007 and Festival in Colmar (France) – 2008 by Vladimirs Spivakov; Festival of chamber music "Returning" - 2009.

In November, 2008 has recorded her solo CD-disk with Moscow «Classic-orchestra», conducted by G.Shamin.

Anna went on tours in Europe, including her solo concerts in Palermo (Teatro Politeamo) - Italy; Weimar - Germany; Vienna (Konzerthaus/Mozart Zaal) - Austria.

At the age of 14 years, Anna has played "Concert for a violin with an orchestra” by P.I.Tchaikovsky in Vienna (Konzerthaus/Grosser Saal) and Salzburg (Mozarteum/Grosser Saal).


 
Alexander POLISHCHUK (Conducter)

Bestowed with the high honor of ”Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”, conductor Alexander Polishchuk graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory in 1991, following in the footsteps of a historic tradition and a long line of distinguished Pupils of Professor Ilya Musin. Following his graduation, Polishchuk was asked to remain at the conservatory for another two years to assist Professor Musin – an honor given to a highly selected few. A prize-winner at the Sixth All-Union Conductors’ Competition in 1988, Polishchuk has, since 1990, performed regularly with the legendary Saint Petersburg Philharmonic.

From 1989 to 1991, Polishchuk was conductor of the Mussorgsky Opera & Ballet Theatre (now the St. Petersburg Mikhailovsky Theatre), touring with the Orchestra to Japan and to Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre as part of the Sholokhov Jubilee Celebrations. In 1991, Polishchuk was appointed Principal Conductor of the St. Petersburg Municipal Symphony Orchestra, where he remained for four years. From 1995 to 1997, Polishchuk conducted numerous opera performances at the Mariinsky Theatre of Saint Petersburg in productions of Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky and Katerina Izmailova by Shostakovich, as well as touring with the Mariinsky Theatre company to Finland. In 1996, Polishchuk became Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra.

In 1998, Alexander Polishchuk was appointed Chief Guest Conductor of the Russian Chamber Orchestra of London, Great Britain. In the 1999-2000 season, Polishchuk lead a production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker at Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

From 2001 to 2008, Polishchuk served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Chamber Orchestra of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, where he also conducted the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, as well as implemented the Festival Orchestra Project of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society for touring abroad.

A much sought-after conductor, Polishchuk has been conductor at the St. Petersburg House of Music from 2008 to the present, as well as appearing with the Russian National Orchestra at the "Concert on Red Square” in honour of the 850th anniversary of the City of Moscow.

A versatile musician, Alexander Polishchuk’s breadth of repertoire is wide-ranging, whether conducting ballet, operatic or symphonic repertoire. A great believer in education, is also a sought-after and revered teacher. Polishchuk has been a professor of conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatory since 1993, and has also served as Artistic Director of the "Peter the Great Master Class and Workshop in St. Petersburg” for conductors from 1995 to 2002. During the 1998-1999 season, Polishchuk was Guest Professor of Conducting at the Royal Academy College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden. He has also given master classes at universities in Finland, Scotland, Singapore, Portugal, Sweden, and the USA. Maestro Polishchuk’s pupils have won many international conducting competitions and hold distinguished posts around the world.

Since 1989 Alexander Polishchuk has toured in the USSR and Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Great Britain, France, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Singapore, Hungary, Ukraine and other countries.

Alexander Polishchuk has taken part in many Russian and foreign festivals including "Stars of the White Nights” (St. Petersburg, Artistic Director: Valery Gergiev), "Musical Collection” (St. Petersburg, Artistic Director: Yuri Temirkanov), "Musical Kremlin” (Moscow, Artistic Director: Nikolay Petrov), "Classic and Modern” (Novosibirsk, Artistic Director: Arnold Kats), Christmas Festivals in Novosibirsk and in La Roque d’Antheron, France, "Classical Nights” in Megève, France, "Music in the Mountains” in Courchevel, France, "Pablo Casals Festival” in Prades, France, as well as numerous other festivals in Germany, Switzerland and other countries.

Alexander Polishchuk regularly collaborates with the Opera and Ballet Theatres of Ekaterinburg, Helikon (Moscow) and the National Opera House of Ukraine (Kiev), and has performed with well-known soloists such as Nikolai Petrov, Sergei Roldugin, Charlier Olivier, Olga Borodina, Anna Netrebko, Yuri Laptev, Alexander Gindin, Eduard Grach, Michel Lethiec, Miroslav Kultiyshev and many others.

Dimitry SHISHKIN (Piano)

Dmitriy Shishkin was born on 12 of February 1992 in Ulan-Ude (Russia). He began to study music when he was three years old. When he was three and a half he had his first concert and at six years old he had his debut with an orchestra.

From four years old he was studying in the Tchajkovsky Special Music School in Cheliabinsk. In 2001 he entered the Gnessin Moscow Specialize School of Music in the class of Honoured Artist of Russia, prof. Mikhail Khokhlov (in this moment Dmitry studies in the 10th grade).

During his study Dmitry became laureate of many competitions and festivals. Also he is the Winner of:

V International Television Competition of Young Talents "The Nutcracker” (Russia, Moscow, 2004, the 1st Prise – "Golden Nutcracker”);

VIII International Maria Yudina Competition (Russia, St. Petersburg, 2006, the 1st Prise).

V International Frederick Chopin Competition for Young Pianists (China, Beijing, 2006, the 1st Prise).

Dmitry successfully combines his study in Gnessin School with frequent concert activities in Russia, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, Yugoslavia, Italy, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Japan, China. In Moscow he performs in the Bolshoy, Maly and Rakhmaninov concert halls of the Moscow conservatory, in the Moscow International House of Music, in the Armouty Chamber in Kremlin, the Pushkin Museum, the Richter museum, the Shilov Art Gallery, the Rerich Museum and others.

He repeatedly performed with major Russian orchestras such as The Symphony Orchestra of St. Peterburg Chapel (conducted by V.Chernushenko), The Academic Chamber Orchestra "Musica Viva” (conducted by A.Rudin), The Big Symphony Orchestra (conducted by V.Fedoseev), The Youth Chamber Orchestra "Gnessin Virtuosi” (conducted by M.Khokhlov) and others.

Since 1998 Dmitry is a member of International Charity Program "New Names”. He has scholarships in the following funds: since 2001 – grant of International Charity Fund of Vladimir Spivakov, since 2002 – grant of Social Fund "Russian Art of Perfomance”, since 2005 – grant of International Charity Fund of Yuri Rosum.

Russian and foreign press emphasize the bright creative individuality and highly professional skills of young pianist, who’s musical talent became the subject in a number of articles and TV–programs.

In 2000 Dmitry got the title "The Man of the Year” in Cheliabinsk in the nomination "Young talent”.
